MY17 comes with LED projector headlamps. They work the same way bi-xenon do. 1 "bulb" to do both low and high beams.

They are not even remotely close to what the cops use.
They literally run off of radar measurements, the same exact stuff that is used in radar guns? It's literally just a radar gun in a sign. And as I said, accurate or not, it IS the number the cops will get, which I believe is accurate, but whether it is or not, it's the number the cops will get so it's the number I'll adjust to.

Also, a quick Google search on radar speed signs gives a lot of testaments to them being pretty accurate, much more accurate than a dial on a car that's measuring drivetrain rotation, and it'll only be accurate if you have the appropriate tire size to correctly match the drivetrain rotation being measured.

Cops also dont pull you over for going just a little over the speed limit because they know these instruments arent 100% accurate.

Thats what I've heard everywhere at least.

Funny I can find just as many things that say they are not accurate. Those signs are NOT the same level of radar the police use, are just sort of aimed in the general direction of traffic, are not calibrated on a regular basis, and get bounced around on little trailers. Sure some may be accurate but other can be way off.

I really don't get why everybody is so sure the car speedos are not accurate and everything else is. If you have stock size tires the car will be very close to spot on. If you have 2 inch bigger it will be off by maybe 5 mph at the most but at least it will be consistently off the same amount and not up and down like those signs will register.

First of all, thanks for all the answers.
Second, yes, I know I'm picky and I know this is not the PERFECT car for me HOWEVER, given the offerings in MY PRICE RANGE, that's the closest thing to perfect I can get (new) so, the purpose of the thread wasn't to see if I'll change my mind but to get as much info as possible before buying one.
Unless some of the other manufacturers start offering alternatives (GM 130R, Nissan IDX) which I see as highly unlikely.

I've been satisfied with my FR-S.
There still isn't any other new-ish offering available that I would consider purchasing.

Had to wait 25 years to find this one.

No ragtops. This is PNW.
Been there. got the mold.

Shared a house with someone that bought one new when they came out.
Put a supercharger on it and he had fun strafing M3s on the floating bridges.
I didn't really like it then either.
