Spotted @ramiel again. This time at 8 Mile and Merriman. I thought he lived down river so it seems odd I would spot him twice up here.

It was a 2010 and yes I was getting tired of having the fr-s sit in the garage sense I only drive it one day a week. But the evo is horrible I pulled out put my foot down and it fell flat on it's face. It's not fun to drive and the power is extreamly unpredictable as it spools whenever it feels like it and changes dramatically based on the conditions. It was fast but at the end of the day not all around impressive at all.

Also, spotted @ramiel at 8mile and Grand River this morning. Is he still active here?

I'm still around, just haven't been doing much car-wise over the winter. I actually bought a condo by 8 Mile and Merriman back in November, so that's why you've seen me in the area. Finally got around to changing back to the summer tires and giving the BRZ a good wash yesterday. Still need to find some time to run up to the dealership and get one of the taillights replaced since it has the condensation problem.

Awesome! I live at 8 mile and Merriman. I saw you yesterday from my apartment parking lot. I heard that exhaust, looked up and saw you pass.

I haven't put the exhaust on yet. I am debating taking the car in for another hpfp, and a check on an uneven idle. So I figure i should wait until after I get that checked out to put on any exhaust.

I'll put it on before I go to Carlisle Sound and Performance the first week of May though.

Moral of the story:

Do not drive on a semi wet track with Prius tires on your BRZ. It will bite your ass like a shark!

Spotted:

Orange, Blue, and Red twins headed on 94 East around 8:30a today, between US-23 and State Street, in Ann Arbor.
I was headed West. I didn't see which twins they were (because I wasn't wearing my glasses), and they weren't driving together (As far as I know. Pretty random, lol)

Anyone here?

Yes I did, by the slightest of margins! It was very very close though. They were brake markers and not exactly poles, but it still would have caused a significant damage to the vehicle had I hit it.

Gingerman, in general, is a very safe track so I felt confident trying to push the vehicle to it's limits. During this session, I had the traction completely off, whereas the wise option should have been to keep it in Sport mode.

True that. Had this been Waterford you'd be in the wall. Did catching a piece of rumble strip upset it or you got on the gas too much?

It was a wet patch. If you look at the slomo at the end, the concrete patch on the left rear wheel was wet and on the right it was dry. This was probably the cause of the spin out. Lose traction on end, when you are exiting the corner while stepping on the gas with a correction steer input!
