We don't really have a break-in period on our blowers or systems. We run our units on a proper test bench before they ever leave the production facility. They are run in at speed up to operating temperature. They then pass muster or else they don't leave the facility.

If anything, the computers need time to relearn. That should restrain a greedy foot. Modern ECUs are rather paranoid and can store up to 50 drive cycles instead of 3-5 like years past. Some of you have probably noticed your car "waking up" a few miles down the road or the next day. An ECU reset can do wonders after mods. The computer gets a fresh outlook on life as opposed to a sudden change in expected measurements.

We do stick with the stock MAP sensor. Standalone ECUs let you do it your way or at least more intuitively. With reflashes, you have to do it "their way". They're just happier with the stock MAP sensor. We don't force you to change it or it would have been included in the system.

We use polymer materials in our systems for what we believe are very good reasons. One of those reasons is better temperature control. Our intake tube is also open enough to breathe well and thick enough to not collapse. The shape is simple and still a direct fit to the stock airbox. You do get more noise with a metal intake, which some folks do like. We take the quieter OEM-like approach.

Also, I have been reading the forums and cannot find much information on upgrading the MAP sensor. Some say there is a boost limitation on the stock sensor and to upgrade, but this might be refering specifically to turbo, while others say stick with the stock sensor on supercharged applications specifically Sprintex. Lastly, I read a post the other day about there being a break in period for the Sprintex supercharger? This is the first I heard...
@SprintexUSA can you confirm?

I also have seen people using an aftermarket Aluminum Supercharger Suction Pipe. Are there any real benefits to using aluminum piping over the stock plastic tube?
Nameless had a pipe, but it is no longer in production. PREracing also makes one, but I am still waiting to confirm availability.

Anyone notice a change in exhaust noise when you installed the SC? Mine has a poppy sound to it under load, almost like an exhaust leak but I can't find any evidence of one anywhere. I have an aftermarket UEL header, and stock exhaust, was thinking about maybe changing the over pipe to a catless one.

Have you data logged your car since the install?

Simply having the metal intake over the plastic would lead me to think it'd heat up quicker and push hotter air into the intake of the charger, making it less efficient
I have the Nameless pipe that they don't make anymore with double ceramic coating on the inside and outside. It feels a little hotter compared to the plastic one, so metal isn't recommended for the lowest heat levels as far as my non-scientific hand on the tube test goes. I like the metal tube regardless. Plus it has a meth injection bung on it if I ever go that route (unlikely).

Shame they don't make them anymore, not that I've seen one at all for the 335

Yes, had an issue with it running lean due to an intake leak, but once that was fixed no problems.

The plastic intake pipe for the 335 is the same as the 210 so it would be the same, or at least I was told it was the same.

Moto East makes a 3" intake, Perrin makes one too. Slapping a Toyota Tundra throttle body would be interesting to see if someone's willing since it has the same pins on the plug. Just need to take the time to get it to work.
