As much as I respect the BMW brand, I took special pleasure while lapping E39's during BMW Club track days in my lowly EuroSport IS300 5M/T at Portland Int'l Raceway road circuit. I hope to do it again at the next combined BMW/Porsche Club track day in September, hunting Caymans this time.

OEM armrest unboxing/review I really like the look of it when closed, but things holding me back on this one are: 1. Drilling into center console. (Not that big of deal but still something to think about) 2. I don't like how it flips sideways. I would have loved this if it slid backwards exposing the center console. Thought it might be an annoyance to passenger access to their drink. This is still something I am considering though. But first things first, JPM Coachworks. |

You guys should come to hawaii, just stopped by our scion, they had three 10 editions out, one was sold. Not a fan of the silver seatbelts. One had fogs, others didn't.

Guys,
I had my first boo boo today and it's actually ironic. I removed the dealer frame to install a rubber one call the Flexiframe to the front so I can get some protection. All this talk about dealer's drilling into the bumper, I never even thought twice about mine. So I notice that in addition to the dealer frame there is also a bracket in the front which I assume was screwed into my bumper. So I install my new frame and I start screwing the stop screws back in and I'm screwing and screwing waiting for it to hit the stop. Well, it doesn't hit the stop so I pull the bracket back and see this. Turns out my bracket isn't screwed in the bumper, the bracket is screwed into the front grill via the bottom two screws, and I just made two screw size indents into the bumper. FML.... So the good news is that no one can see it..the bad news is that I just marred my bumper for no good reason... Question, I am getting a clear bra installed next week. Will the raised edges of the screw holes now cause a problem? I don't want to have bubbles in my clear bra. Should I bother fixing this? On a happy note, installed my new shark fin from @Beat-Sonic So the picture makes it look like the paint doesn't match but that's not the case. Keep in my the hood is reflecting the sky and the fin is reflecting the vertical. The color match is actually pretty good and I'm very happy with this product. |
