Man, just reading the fine print near the trigger housing if you can't shoot them in the face or eyes, you better be a good shot, or those bugs need to be HUGE!

We used to have these at work for some reason. They were actually quite cool.

We had to issue a ban on modified nerf guns at work, the arms race got a bit out of control for a while You would be surprised on the velocity you can get out of those things when you stick it in a piece of 10ft long 1 inch conduit and hook it up to shop air. You have to tape the front a little bit or it blows apart the dart. We are also no longer allowed to air horn people for being in the bathroom for too long. |

I have been thinking about making a chuck box / camp kitchen, and have looked online, but there are so many different designs to choose from. Anyone built one? Or have a favorite design? Even if it's just a pic...
I'm kinda leaning towards a smaller design that's a box in a box like this. So it doesn't have to sit on a tail gate or table, and so it could be carried by one (strong) person. Thanks in advance for any input!

That design is nice, I would like to see pan storage under the base to free up more room in the top, or allow you to shorten it if you do not need that space. I tend to like to keep my pans out in the open more camping so they can dry.

Also, the passenger seat swival arrived finally. Will be installing it later... Current pic. Edit: I made a bunch of gladiator stickers. (Because I have a chevy g20 that was customized by Gladiator back in 1993) Anyway, I stuck them on a few things; like my arb for instance. I pulled the sticker off right after this pic. It didn't "add" in a good way.

every time i see one in a store, i pick it up, almost put it my cart, see the price, and put it back. nice idea, but i'm not paying $50 for something i can use a free baseball bat for!

i would use a name-brand storage tub that fits under the bed. cheap, and easy to replace if it gets damaged(name brands change styles less often, so finding one of the same is generally easier).

Going to buy my own laptop for new job (and take a yearly technology stipend). I have a desktop for now, but I'll need to be mobile on occasion. Plan to use this 100% once I get it.
Any recommendations? Going to need windows (I could do a VM, but why bother), 16gb+ of ram, and looking at a higher-end i5, probably 8th gen. Also, at least 15". It actually looks like the best value is a consumer-grade gaming models at ~$900. Though I can get a customized business-grade Dell Precision for like $1600, which is basically what I have now for work. Is business-grade hardware worth it? |
