Rust on Rays Lug Nuts

If you can wipe the rust off, it's from the socket that was used.

If it doesn't wipe off, you may have a counterfeit set.

I highly doubt a reputable shop like Evasive is going to stock fake Rays gear and get skewered by a community, especially when they are one of California's largest aftermarket shops/storefronts.

If you want to go a different direction, I think the McGard spline drive lug nuts and the CSG Spec lug nuts are probably very solid options that will hold up without issue.

If you actually go to page 161 in the Rays catalog (https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/DB/cata.../2019F_all.pdf), you'll find that they sell more lug nuts of the steel variety than aluminum.
