Why not just pull the fuse if you're that worried about it? I leave mine sitting for weeks at a time with no issues.

Same here, left for weeks while away for work and starts right up. I'm pretty sure it was taken into account when the car was designed and having a supercharger wouldn't have any effect on that circuit. Are you still using the stock battery size?

Running the EVAP system test draws very little current; having a multi-amp pump running at the same time is not what the system was designed for. I've walked in to my garage at all hours and heard they system test running; if it does it a lot in below freezing temperatures for a week that could be a current draw.
I will pull the fuse for now, that takes care of it. |

Not sure yet. Drove less than 80 miles. Dont know how accurate the mpg estimates on the dash is but I noticed the real time estimates dip into the single digits when starting in 1st (3mpg) and 2nd gear (6mpg). Never noticed it going that low that often before. I know before the supercharger I got 250-260 miles from a full tank to the light coming on. I'll check on it the next full tank I fill. I live in Hawaii and work close to home so not that much freeway driving and filling up gas.

I think mine in the 4-5k miles I have it I've been averaging around 22-23mpg. I probably got around 28 before the supercharger. I think you might be able to get 26-28 on the freeway the problem is anytime you give it throttle it drops into the single digits.

Put me down as a record for fastest bypass valve failure. On my third tank of gas and the car is very unhappy when cold. Been flashing map updates from Zach so it is hard to separate a new flash deadband vs a real problem. Put my mityvac on the line that goes to the bypass valve - less than 5 in of Hg the vacuum holds. But as soon as it goes above six and the valve starts to move it drops like a rock.

That's basically what's pushing me towards the turbo. I hear fuel consumption tends to run higher with an SC. I drive a lot so the difference would definitely be felt

You cannot generalize that way. My fuel consumption is the same, if not better, with supercharger, of course when driven normally.

The number of bypass valve failures is pretty ridiculous that I've seen. I understand why you would use a vacuum actuated device to move the valve, but I'm going to research using a second MAP sensor connected to an Arduino that will drive a magnetic linear actuator to control the bypass valve. That will also give me more control over when and how fast the valve responds to throttle inputs.
Any Arduino programming experts out there? |

Can someone explain why the PCV side of the engine gets kept in 'closed loop' by entering the intake after the throttlebody but the driver side gets essentially vented to atmosphere (deposited into the intake after the air filter but before the MAF)?

It's not VTA. It's still under vacuum. It's also the same way it's done on the OEM intake setup.
