Not in the slightest. I do take it off entirely on track days to unblock airflow to the oil cooler core, but it had zero effect on coolant temp.

My existing front bumper is heavily damaged and I've got a brand new front bumper cover that just needs some finishing work. With the news that they are considering making front plates optional, I'm considering doing the front plate relocation bracket in the meantime so I don't need to put any holes in my new bumper cover because I'll go plateless in front if I can. Anyone know if I'll run into any legal issues running the relocation bracket here in Ontario? The only thing I can find is "a plate must be attached to the front of the vehicle" but considering Ontario's overbearing vehicle legislation, I'd be more shocked if they didn't have some additional stipulations.

I’ve run with my plate off to the right side since I picked up my 2014 without a hitch.
