These pulleys are definitely catching my attention though...

One of the best mods your money can buy, with gains across the entire RPM range.

They sure look pretty, but I think I'd like independent dyno verification.

I'd like to take this occasion to note that I'm pretty sure my shifting is a bit smoother than it used to be. I'm quite happy with this mod.

I'll finally get my alternator pulley installed tonight.

All the dynos we have on our blog (Scion, Nissan, Subaru) have always been independent, third party, dynos. We took the car to a dyno shop in Houston called Carboy Racing, they did all the work including the installation and the dyno runs.

The only thing we do (including the owner of the car) is to stand there and take photos.

The dynos have always shown gains when NST pulleys have been used.

Ordered last Friday and installed a week later. Its amazing how heavy the stock pulleys are compared to these things. I can't say I can feel any HP changes but the throttle response and smoothness is entirely worth the money. Install is cake and really quick if you don't have to pull off all the stock intake. I would recommend.

If things go well over the next couple weeks, we will start production in December.

Awesome Group Buy offer for anyone who missed the first one, or has been sitting on the fence about grabbing a set of these pulleys...

This is an awesome offer and a great chance to treat yourself to a present this holiday season.

Here's a question we've received several times via email, pm, etc.

Q: I just received my pulley and it looks like it's damaged.
There seems to be a nick/notch/ding on the edge of the pulley.

A: Your OEM crank pulley has the same mark in the same location.
This is called a "timing mark" and is used to time the engine should service ever be needed in the future.

Is that a speedy-sleeve on the flange? I thought anodizing took care of needing one?

Sorry, the backside of the FRS pulley does not have a sleeve, and does not need one. I just used that pic (Scion tCII) because I had it readily available and it clearly demonstrates the point I'm trying to make.

In certain cases we do use a sleeve, even on an anodized pulley, for extra security and durability. Look at it as just one more reason why NST pulleys are superior to other brands when it comes to strength, reliability, and awesomeness!

NST offers more pulleys for the line of Scion cars than all other brands combined, and NST pulleys are the best your hard earned money can buy.

Yeah I made the mistake of making my own bare AL pulley for an engine and didnt anodize it.....after a 1000 mile round drip I was pouring oil out the front of the motor, lol. Speedy sleeves are legit.

I'll be buying an alternator/waterpump duo when you guys relase the idler pulleys
