Leave me alone old man, or else I'll report you for harassment because I'm a tender snowflake.

Seriously though, it'll be a nice touch, add a splash of extra colour since I switched all the silver trim to black.

Looking forward to getting it. Talking with the guy who makes them, sounds like he'll do it on Monday, then hopefully ship it out same day, with any luck it'll be here on Friday.

I'm going to need to get crafty with the parking brake boot. Need to get the stock one off, then get the new one one with glue.

Be careful when taking the old one off, not to tear it ...... you may decide to put it back on......

@Tcoat .......I thought this was your week to watch Cole ...... doesn't appear you're doing a very good job of it ......

I'm so glad that the old farts have a babysitting schedule. Is @Ultramaroon included in "daddy" duty, and do you guys watch @soulreapersteve too?!?!

I'm going to try my best to take it off without any damage to the original boot. Luckily replacements are fairly inexpensive so I'm not totally SOL if anything goes awry. Also, I'll have you know I took fashion in high school (focused on designing and producing garments, bags, etc) and excelled at it, so I'm not totally out of my depth with this. Still kind of kicking myself for not creating a template myself and seeing it up on my own.

Of course not. Being the typical sexually charged high school student I was, I enjoyed showing up to class every day, being taught by a very attractive woman in her mid 20's. once I was of legal age, I ran into her at a bar and she bought me drinks all night. Plus, that class taught me how to sew by hand and machine, a skill that came in handy more than once in the military.

After doing long ruck marches, and settling down in the biv sites, I'd religiously get my sewing kit out, thread a needle, then put the needle through my blisters and leave the thread in overnight. Guess who didn't complain about blisters the next morning? Not to mention, I can hem my own dress pants, let out my dress pants and suit jackets, do minor repairs on clothing and if I'm in the mood, I could go out to the fabric store and make my girlfriend a one off purse.

It ended up being a very useful skill, even if it is underused nowadays.
