Only firing on 4 of 8 injectors (direct injection only, not port injectors), also no exhaust - thus the horrible sound :P Now that it starts, it will get the wiring finished and tuned on Monday

Any concerns of the heat from the turbocharger even with the blanket causing some premature belt wear/slipping?

Probably will regularly change the belt anyway.

We have jammed an awful lot of stuff into a small space, but so did Kalen who designed the kit - he's not had dramas yet, so we will see

My car's just a simple single turbo build, but I'd LOVE to get my car to idle like yours somehow.

I love that loping, hotrod sounding idle. Reminds me of a bridgeported rotary.
