Not as much progress as we wanted today, but tomorrow should be the day we fire it up.. Nothing left to stop us now.

Yeah I noticed the question more clearly after I already posted. I took a pic yesterday but it's hard to really make out. What they did is fit the factory guard liner, then cut up the guard liner from some random Ford and riveted that in there to give the extra 10cm of inner guard. It still minimises the debris that can get down inside the front quarter panel, but it's not quite as well sealed as the rear ones.

Subscribed and waiting for dyno!
This is the cleanest wide body build of an 86 I've seen. Very tidy, congrats :-) |

Well, the RPS clutch didn't fit (fouled the block), had to rush a new clutch in.
Many thanks to 999 automotive for rushing us a new clutch (that fit) at a moments notice. Will explain fully after I hear back from RPS. Needless to say we are quite distressed as we are set back another day. Still hoping to get it started tonight. Updates to follow.

There is a 4 bar map sensor after the supercharger and and 3 bar map sensor before it (after the turbo), in case we want to run more than 30psi. Rear calipers are 2 piston

RPS Carbon Clutch that was supplied fouled the engine block. Not sure what's happened here yet, perhaps they sent us the wrong one.. Either way, it caused us great drama the past 24hrs..
You can see the gouge marks along the back of the flywheel. 999 Automotive dropped us off a Stage 4 Competition Clutch, which will see us by for now We were really looking forward to trying out the carbon clutch Hopefully we have some resolution from RPS soon. The guys at GT Auto were there till all hours trying to make up for lost time of the clutch fiasco, for which I can not thank them enough Today's pics show the new sparco 6pt harnesses, the motec interface, the clutch issue, and the location of the Magnafuel fuel pressure regulator (on the rear of the engine, LHS).
