Not on pump gas and not with any kind of reliability. You do realize this car has atypical weight which is something people are not used to. This car with a few simple things taken off/changed weighs 2650 lbs (2750 stock). You don't need 300/350 whp to propel a big fat 3400-3500 lb wrx sti or 350z or 3800 lb GTR etc

I think 280whp is great at sea level. I'm also at high elevation, so there is a huge drop in power with higher altitude. I'd like to see 250whp uncorrected. This will put the car around 300whp at sea level. This is really good power.
350whu is very drivable ...

Not trying to be an ass or anything, but I don't think it's possible with the Vortech kit ONLY. And if it were to be done, it wouldn't be reliable for long driving trips. I would imagine with extremely small pulleys, it would get pretty hot pretty quick.

Asking a 210whp setup to make 350whp is asking a ton.

Now, for a positive note from a guy who has a 300whp FRS, I believe the supercharger setups are going to be more consistent and faster at the track or autocross. The turbos have a good amount of torque that makes this car go sideways very easily (possibly exclude AVO). The supers have a smoother power delivery.

BTW, sorry to feed the troll a little bit, but I'm sure any of us driving an FT86 could get more ass than a fucking loud POS 1999 Honda. The car before my FRS was a Prelude, so I do love Hondas- but come on man your car is friggin 14 years old, time to move into the next millennium.

I don't understand the obsession with horsepower numbers.. Why didn't you guys just buy something with a big V8 under the hood?! If you want BIG numbers, than turbocharge your car. The supercharger was chosen to retain a smooth driving experience.

Not exactly true. I know tons of S2000 guys with Vortech kits running 14+ (which is more then the base 5.5 psi it comes) and have put over 60k miles on it and there is no daily driving issues at all. As long as you are not over spinning it at redline. It will still run cooler than any turbo. And a turbo isn't any different, its still spinning off of hot exhaust gasses all the time when you are on long trips.

ah... 1275kg's is like dry weight written on the spec sheet.

Anyone weight a fully laden car full trim with full tank, all liquids and a driver?

1650kg be my best.
