Nitrous systems on these cars? Forum opinions?

Just saw a nitrous system got released for these cars. What are your guys' thoughts on it?

I'd think it'd make the stop light drags at least a little bit more fun.

With nitrous these cars will actually make some torque, and wont add another 75lbs to the car while doing it. Its a viable option and I think it should be explored.

Amateurs don't use nitrous oxide. I've seen how you drive. You've a heavy foot.

Lol.. Seriously though. It's a power adder. Nothing wrong with that. Just like any power adder, needs to be done right.

I think the 35 or 50 shot would be pretty safe i wouldn't go much higher than that though unless you can afford to pay if it breaks.

That's what I was thinking. It'd be fun for stop light drags but other than that...

I wonder if the stock engine could handle a 25-50 shot without a tune?

From experince, if you have a good kit, and a clutch that can handle it, nitrous in the 50 shot range on 4 cyl and 75 on 6's will not cause harm to the car. As long as you dont go lean, or rich , your fine. Most cars can handle nitrous stock , except for the clutch. There is alot of fear about it, but ive seen people use 3 bottles a weak. Perosnaly i only sprayed a bottle every two months in my past cars, a civic, and a 6 cyl tiburon. Both were the same kit i moved it over when i sold the car, both ran as good as the day i got them , the tib i started at 28k miles , and the took it to 100k before i traded it in. Its the same strain as a blower , just not always on. Just dont be stupid and shoot more then the car can handle. Nitrous can be used at a motor sport track to and last, just on strait aways and such , drifting not so much. Would still take a blower over no2

Will any circuit tracks or auto x allow nitrous? I always thought it was only allowed for drag cars?

You would empty a bottle in a big hurry, probably only a couple laps at best.
