Make sure your turbo safety glasses are on before pressing the button

I'm guessing this will be a relay like the Tap-Turn modules currently available.

I'd kill for a turbo...button, to speed up my HU.

But it's nice that some models are getting Pilot Sports.

Pure sports car performance with 205 hp, light weight, and ultra low center of gravity

So, does this mean that the AT gets the newer engine and lower rear differential ratio?

Not according to either of these:

http://media.subaru.com/download.do?id=1193

"Output remains 200 hp and 151 lb-ft with automatic transmission."

Interesting. I wonder why there is no further development for the AT. Low sales I would guess.

This is actually one of my biggest pet peeves....

In general I'm against government mandates, but this is something I would support on all vehicles.

You would be amazed at how many people drive around without lights in torrential down pours here in the PAC NW. Then they wonder why someone hits them.

Here's a clue genius, if you have to turn on your wipers then turn on your lights so the rest of us can see your dumb@ss. (and it's actually the law in some states)

Now I know everyone on here is super attentive behind the wheel and are aware of all the other cars around them but the other 99% of society is already driving distracted. You add in low visibility from precipitation and its a recipe for disaster. Having the lights auto on with the wipers won't solve the problem but certainly won't hurt.

I honestly don't see a huge need for this feature. Yes, its more safe but where I'm from it rain 8 months of the year and it would annoy the hell out of me.. I would be ok with just a rear fog flight and DTRLs turning on.. just my $0.02 though..

This ^ Not even half the cars turn their lights on in the rain. Especially bad with white, silver or black cars that are almost invisible.

How would lights coming on annoy you? You probably wouldn't even notice. The DRLS should be on all the time now anyway. These cars are already low visibility so I would think everybody would want to be seen better.

It took me a while to get used to not having this feature when i got my brz. It was standard in a vehicle from 2000. Not sure why automatic headlights and headlights on with wipers aren't standard features of any new car. The technology has been around forever so it can't be that expansive of an add on.

The AT models actually get most of the engine features that are on the '17 6MT. There's a product spec pdf that covers each new addition in depth, and on pg 75 it covers what parts went to all models or just the 6MT's. The AT's get pretty much everything but the coated/treated? pistons and the intake tract and manifold. The AT's get the more rigid block, optimized rocker arms, smoother cam journals, etc.
