Have we found any fixes to be able to adjust Pandora or other streamers volume through the stereo yet? Because that is the biggest problem so far for me, is I can't adjust the volume loud enough.

I'm in the same boat as you, Mac1235. Really hoping for some sort of fix.
In the meantime for those of you with issues of play/pause button, next/previous buttons, and song information displaying for your music apps, I have a recommendation that ended up working for me. As far as Android phones go, I believe the "Device Type" under your Bluetooth settings needs to be "Mobile phone." Kind of a no brainer you would think, but my phone came in "All devices" mode and that's what fixed the buttons and display issues for me. EDIT: Just to be clear, the above tip fixed my music app on my phone, not Pandora or any of the other streaming music apps. At that, though, if you adjust the music when your local music app is running - BEFORE using Pandora, etc. - it will stay at that volume for Pandora, etc. I put my car volume up to 50 before using Pandora and just control the volume with my phone thereafter. I'm at loss on what you mean control the volume on the radio.. I can adjust the volume with the knob of course and I can adjust the volume on the phone and turn the blue tooth volume up or down.. All the way up on the phone and up on the radio is way way louder then it needs to be.. In fact I think if I continued to listen to it, I'd think it would blow the speakers, it really loud..

Very disappointed that I can't turn Pandora up using the radio knob. Does anyone know if it works with the cable? I'd rather not do that because Bluetooth is so nice but I'd rather be able to listen to Pandora at speed with the windows down.

2 things that I can add to this thread, any time I've had an issue where i get a display of "paused" on the screen, I usually disable Bluetooth on the phone and re-enable and then volume control starts working fine.
I have a galaxy Note 2 and the stock music player has never had an issue sending the Bluetooth info over to the head unit, however, Pandora is another story. I did a bit of research and found that there is a user over on the 9th civic forums that has gone ahead and fixed the code of the Pandora app on android. http://www.9thgencivic.com/forum/aud...formation.html I have the actual stock head unit, not the bespoke premium and it works perfectly, I get Pandora song info on the head unit, and can control the volume without issue. I hope this helps some of you guys. |

Rocket Music Player.
Volume and track switching work! Song title and other information correctly display on the stock head unit. Rocket also understands and correctly orders all my playlists imported from iTunes via AirSync. My stock android music app, the so called Android Music Player, which is actually an earlier (and now defunct) version of Rocket, allowed full controls but totally sucked at importing or understanding playlists which effectively made it useless. Anyone having these issues should give Rocket a try, seems to work great with our headunit.

Reviving an old thread.
I've been using a music streaming app that works quite nicely with the stock headunit. Xiia Radio Good: Displays artist/track info on stereo. Can switch between favorite playlists from the stereo. Can play/stop automatically when car turns on/off. Can disable screen timeout when charging. Bad: Doesn't buffer way ahead of time unlike Songza or Pandora. Info: Supports AVRCP. Streams shoutcast playlists. 3 different themes to choose from.

Not to thread steal, but I have the 2014 standard Pioneer HU. Is it just me or is anyone else unable to get cover art to show up over BTA? Spotify works with track info, just no Coverart. I tired with a USB connection as well and still was unable to get coverart to show up Just curious is this is a widespread thing or is the Bespoke HU needed for something simple.
