if you live in CA and CARB certification is a must, I would contact with KW and ask the status on their status, last time I checked they were still waiting for the CARB approval..
Ideal setup with any SC kit would be having the cats in the front pipe (not on the header like the OEM) section since it will eliminate the chance of back pressure

Oh okay haha. I don't currently live in Cali although who knows I might end up there some day. But at the moment it isn't yet an issue so I'll just check my current State's laws on it... I do plan on adding a catless header, probably Nameless, do you think that at the sub 300 whp level I will need to go 3"? I know you went 2.5 but do you notice any lack of flow? Does it hold your engine back, or is it fine unless you add the larger turbine and a built engine?

Sorry I'm full of questions this morning haha...

No, you will not need anything more than 2.5" ,as far as I remember 2.5" starts becoming a bottleneck at or above 400 whp mark I didn't see any gains (marginal maybe) by going with 3" inner diameter

I think this is an underrated feature, and I'm not sure why they don't put more emphasis on it. Also the dyno graphs, that I have looked at on other member's threads, just for some not so scientific comparison have shown me that the torque difference between the Innovate/Sprintex kit and the KW kit is not substantial above 3k and after around 4.5k the KW just takes off... Plus there is always the benefit of an air to air inter-cooler, which is much less maintenance than the Laminova style...

Thank you by the way, this is all great information that I really needed to know moving forward! I'm trying to keep my car from looking like it came out of a Fast and Furious movie, but at the same time having enough down-force to keep it from skidding off the track at high speeds as I enter a turn...
also...
Probably because their complicated belt setup is causing belts to break. Every KW owner has spare belts in the trunk.

An exaggeration :-) Why does the KW kit break so many belts anyways?

It's just what I read in the kw owners thread. Oh well this is probably not the place to talk about it.
