TRD Fog Canards.. arrived

Got these this morning, looks like I'll have to remove the front bumper again.
They are made of soft supple poly urethane material.
Hopefully I'll be able to bolt the canards via the wheel well shroud.

Not sure if this has been pointed out, but you should consider swapping your dry and wet track rims. Wider and lighter in the dry, narrower and heavier in the wet.

Heya, thanks for the compliment. Haven't installed it yet as I been far too lazy, and I've got to find out the part number for the replacement bolts as they are 'one use only' due to stock bolts stretching. You *could* re-use the stock bolts, but it wouldn't be as safe as high tensile steel stretches.

I'll hit up City Toyota parts maybe next week to find out, and also pick up some more 0W-20 Genuine oil.

@Boxer486: Good idea, that's the plan
I'll be using my CP-R as my daily and also as my 'wets' since they have the Michelin PS3's on them which are very very good in went conditions. I also have my WedsSports with PS3's on them too which I can use(but slightly less tread).

I sold off my RPF1/Kumho KU36 wheel combo to a fellow Zx6'er here in Perth last week, but I'm now looking for a brand new set of wheels - specifically for track use. 16inch and very functional. Still trying to sort out the best price for them, will most probably be shod with Kumho V70A's(mediums) or some Toyo R888's or Yoko AD08 Rs(still gotta do more research on tyres)

So the CP-R's will be my dailys(4.9kgs daily lol), and the new wheels will be my track wheels and the Weds will be my bling/photoshoot/cruise-meet wheels.

Reach Out World Wide

I received my stickers earlier this week. Put some on my car and helmet.
Stickers are great, have a bit of stipple/mottled texture to it also.
These are the legit stickers supporting ROWW directly.
Also picked up a hat: http://roww.3dcartstores.com/Embroid...Grey_p_24.html

RadiumAuto Dual Catch Cans Installed

One or two hiccups here and there. If you bought bonnet dampers that didn't come supplies with longer bolts it might be a good idea to use them, or buy some 10mm bolts. Stock bolts just manage to secure them though.

Left Hand Side
If your using a FT86Speed Factory braille 11lbs AGM battery holder, you'll be pleased to know that it just fits the catch can. I would probably put the can in a rubber sleeve of some sort to be safe(electrical wise) and protect the finish from abrasion.

Right Hand Side
One or two hiccups here, you have to disconnect a metal pipe(2 clips) and let it hang slightly loose. Also a bunch of wiring loom has to be unclipped from the strut tower. Very tight fit. In this picture you can see I used one of my SPOON oil reservoir socks wrapped around it, secured with zip ties. This is to stop abrasion with the loose metal pipe(which is resting hard up against the catch can)

Ronals Arrive

Just in time for Valentines Day!! I got my car yet another set of shoes.

These are "Ronal R50 Aero". A throwback design mimicking the Ronal "Turbo". They come in 16in and 18in sizes. These are 16x7.5 with +38 offset. 9.6kgs. Made in Germany. A Japanese car running German whee's who'd have thunk it.

Significantly heavier than my CP-R's(4.9kgs) although weight is less than stock weight of GTS wheel. As can been seen from the last two pictures the vents seem functional which is the intention for purchase of this wheel.

Proper tyre rubber for this wheel is 205/50/16 is very expensive. Got quoted $370 each for Kumho V70A and around the same price for Toyo R888's. This is from a local dealer, may have to check online for more competitive prices.

Update: Just ordered some R-Comps for the Ronals. Seems like a nice enough price.

I have been wanting to see these on a twin. I love the rim look. Why didn't you get the 18"s?

Alot of stuffing around with cutting the foam with the box cutter. Spent a good 15mins cutting the foam so the triangular bracket would fit. If your anal about the foam being cut perfectly you can remove the bumper, but I did it this method as its quicker and easier for me.

Here is a photo of the foam that you need to cut. Credit to @JD86 for the pic which I cropped

** Careful you don't cut the tab for the front tow hook cover fascia, I almost cut it straight across **

In the end, I discovered I bought the wrong damn bolts
I need 60mm long bolts instead of 30mm. I'll update this post once it's all installed correctly..

- - - - - UPDATE - - - - -

Went to COVs Fasteners this morning before heading into work. This time I bought three types of bolts of various lengths: 50mm, 60mm and 70mm. All M16x1.5 metric pitch. Grade 8.8 S/Steel.

A comparison of the bolts:
30mm on the left, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm and Original Tow Hook
I ended up using the 50mm bolt

Finally Installed

Tow flap hanging out of the hook recess

TRS Tow Strap all snuggled up and shoved back into the recess.
Literally went through so many pages to find this post cause i really want this tow strap! but you said hook? not to cut some hook, i'm a bit confused... what hook not to cut? been staring at the picture and don't udnerstand what you mean or see a hook ..

It's the plastic loop(part of the bumper) in the below pic. If you are using a box cutter blade you need to be extra careful not to cut it off.
You can see from this picture that I've half cut it off by accident.
