I work at the Supercheap Auto Distribution Centre in Melbourne, Altona and we have a toyota parts and service building right next door and the Toyota Altona plant down the road.. I've just finished work about 2 hours ago and spotted an argento base model 86 pulling out of Westgate Drive onto Doherty's Road heading towards the Altona plant. I tried to follow it but lost it at the roundabout..
I know I don't have any pictures but I thought it was worth mentioning.
It felt very surreal seeing it in the flesh.

Not exactly an Australian spotting but a spotting by an Australian... This is my first time seeing a production car in the flesh!

I'm ver in the us for work, on my way back from dinner I stopped and got friendly with this FRS in the flesh... Quite a nice car I must say, the metallic white is an awesome color.

Anyhow, couldn't kill to share some shots.

Thanks @JDM-20L - dang...so their is extra cost for Pearl white...well for the US anyways...it would be the same case here right?

Ah not sure brother? I never paid too much attention to pricings lol.

But we couldn't believe we saw it there parked out front of that dealer in west Chicago... I've not seen anything in person since the concept two years ago or more.

Made my night anyways... :happy0180:

Yeah I'm pretty sure Pearl White is going to be an additional charge. It seems that way from JDM-20L's pic and I saw that in Malaysia they are charging about $350 AUD more for the white. I think all other colours come standard.

My mate took a photo of this today in Sydney. I'm not too sure but doesnt look like NSW plates....
The more of these cars that are on the road, the more its going to drive me crazy about mine!!

Unfortunately I didn't take the photo. The Toyota Sales training is taking place at Crown Plaza Parramatta today. So call in if you're in the neighbourhood. You might get a sneak peak!!!
