If my ECU is unlocked and I have the cable/dongle, would you be able to retune my vehicle? Or would it be locked from the last tuner?

If you currently have a ECUTek credit on your car, I can can reflash it. I would simply be overwriting your old tune with my own. I would not be able to build off of the previous tune that is currently on your ECU.....not that we would want to do that anyways.

^^ In addition to that I am sure they would be able to tell you how your current tune is running and if in fact they would need to do a new tune. If your AFs are looking decent across the board and you are not have any issues bogging down you would probably be alright until your next power modification. Made next time you are down Toan can take a quick glance.

We're confident that we can provide you with a better dyno tune than the canned one included with the tuned kit.

Sweet! Gonna go take advantage of that KW groupbuy now. I'll PM you when I'm ready to purchase the programming cable with base map. The programming cable, is it the ECUTek ProECU kit? http://www.ecutek.com/Products/Retai...mming-Kit.aspx

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer tuning on OFT. The process of logging, making changes, writing to the OFT, and then flashing the ECU using the OF-Tablet simply takes too long. It would likely take an entire day to complete a simple NA tune. It is great for development of canned tunes for ROM file sharing, but currently too slow IMO to be used for custom one-off tunes.

The ECUTek software allows logging, editing, and flashing directly with the PC. The flashing process on the FR-S/BRZ is still relatively slow, but much faster than with the OFT. Furthermore, the ability to write custom maps for live map switching on the dyno speeds up the tuning process even more.

Hope this explanation helps.
