I have owned both a 2014 (RIP) and a 2013 10 Series. I like the 10 Series more by far than the 14. The headlights are a huge improvement. They are much better looking and also have an auto on mode which the 14 didn't (not a big deal to most though.) The climate control is also much better. In the 10 series you get the automated climate control with much nicer switches and dials. You also get keyless entry and push button start with the 10 series which next to the headlights, is the best thing the 10 series has on the non special editions IMO.

The other slight differences are that the 14s and on have the "knee pads" which is the soft covering around the door speakers and the center console where the 10 series is hard plastic. This is the one thing I do miss about the 14 but you can mend this via the aftermarket if you really want. The seat belts are also a silver color in the 10 series versus the black ones on the 14/15 which I'm not a huge fan of as they will show dirt overtime. I'm indifferent on the Silver Ignition paint color. In the sunlight it will look more blueish which I'm not the biggest fan of but in darker lighting conditions it is an awesome silver color so it balances it out for me I guess. The other small differences I can think of is the 10 series has a rimless rear view mirror and special lights in the badges (glow white and blue when walking up to the car and getting out and locking) and in the dash. Oh and since you are looking at the 15, it will have the better looking shark fin antenna where as the 10 series will have the RC car style stick antenna. This is something I fixed with an aftermarket antenna.

TL/DR: Get the 10 series.

As a side note here is what you don't get with the 10 series vs BRZ Limited/Sport Tech-

Working door lights
Leather/Alcantara seats
Lighted vanity mirrors
Alarm
Heated seats
Radio with navigation

What you do get is all the stuff the upgraded BRZ gets plus the exclusive colour, lighted shift knob and emblems, and the frameless mirror. The emblems could actually be quite useful when searching for your car in a busy parking lot at night.
I think that's correct, please correct me otherwise.

I''d buy a 10 Series and immediately swap out the shift knob. Sacrifice the BRZ stuff for the nicer face and exclusivity.

I didn't know that the 10-series doesnt have an alarm? I figured since it had keyless ignition it would be included with the car.

The solar powered lighted shift knob is only for the AT, MT gets the normal shift knob.

P.S. the lighted badges helped me find the car faster parked in a field after a concert in Bethelwoods.

Or just buy a used BRZ limited lol
Seats are the same as a base model FYI

Get the 10 Series, you'll love the color or sunny days and at dusk, its like 6 in one honestly.

It's there but off by default. You have to turn it on with techstream.

Really? On the Monogram it's off by default too, but you can activate by pressing a couple of buttons while inside the car. I can't remember the exact process though.
