Well, I wont be at CnC on the 19th...because I will be doing some fun twisties with some other members down in SE Ohio

that I'm not sure about but no SCCA license is required tomorrow. Its a funday with some SCCA guys in their own group. Driver meeting at 9:30. Hope to see some of you guys out there!

Saturday is supposed to be 49 degrees, cloudy and windy. I know C&C is officially over but Pete mentioned that some may go to the Starbucks anyway if it is decent. Is anyone planning on going?

Debating on when to put on the snow tires. Forecast looks like its getting colder next week...bleh

My rule of thumb is when you see a solid week of temperatures below 50*...then its time. Hopefully getting mine on next weekend.

Snow tires? Heck no. I am heading down to southern Ohio to do a run on that Car and Driver test loop on Sunday.

They claim: “The driving route is maybe the best in the world, this side of the Nürburgring,” If it is as good as they say then maybe we can include it in the Spring run.

EDIT: My son took his FR-S and my brother and I took our Spyders down to run the Car and Driver Test Loop in Hocking Hills. The roads show a great deal of promise. There are a lot of elevation changes but most are not as drastic as the ones on RT555. The speed limit is 55MPH except in the town of South Bloomville. Pavement is great and there are an assortment of banked turns, decreasing radius turns, a couple off camber turns and some great high speed sweepers. The downside is that is a long boring drive to get to RT664 and the traffic around Hocking Hills State Park was pretty bad with a lot of tourist driving 35MPH. When You got around them so you could open it up a bit then it was a blast. We are going to scout for a more entertaining way to get there. We used US RT22 and it was boring plus there were expansion joints every 40 feet that thumped hard when you passed over them.

If we can find a better way to get there it would make an excellent location for a Spring or early Summer run.
