Why did you guys go with the STi lower control arms and not the Cusco adjustables?

Not at the moment. It's a balancing act and we feel having the strongest arms possible while staying relatively light was very important. We were able to use really big beefy bearings with this set-up and didn't want to make any sacrifices. We have been thinking about the outer ball joint situation and building in some roll center correction.

The Cusco arms are good but we had already added the Whiteline adjustable rear bushing so adjustability wasn't needed. They WL bushings are a pain to install and adjust but they do add some poly to the rear as an added benefit and there are some minor geometry issues adjusting camber with the lower arm. We like the long lasting and quiet bearings STI uses too.

A little more than the KWs. Great US based rebuild/revalve service available from JRZ USA just up the road from us. Really one of the best "do everything" coilover I've ever driven.

What is the typical life span on these coilovers (e.g. JRZ and/or KWs)? This is the first time i'm putting anything other than Koni or Bilstein strut replacements in a daily driver so if i'm spending upwards of $2k it'd be nice to know how long before a rebuild is needed. Hell, is a rebuild service available even?

Also, kindly PM me on the pricing of the STi lip. I'm considering putting thru a bulk order.

There is nothing wrong with bc racing for daily driving. They are actually very comfortable on the streets and cant beat the 50$/shock replacement.
In the track, thats different story. Probably not the best way to go with. The spring and shock combo is off, needs stiffer spring. The lower mount is too thin causing lot of flex during the stress. But for the price, i think its a good deal. I wouldnt say good quality

Short version, they last a good long time. JRZ is serviceable stateside just up the road from us. KW is serviceable in California. We've had KW's out there for 3+ years without needing servicing,

I'll have Myles PM you.
