I placed the GPS sensor in the little slot behind the passenger faux carbon panel that pops right off. Overall the fitment is quite nice. I used 3M double sided tape to hold it down.

Here is the final pic of the installation.

The HU by factory default comes with a floating white android home button. This can be removed in the factory settings (password is 126) Also the annoying beeping sound when you turn a knob or pressing a button can be disabled as well in the settings.

One of the main things that was important to me was the ability to change music tracks with a physical button or knob, the right knob on this unit allows this. (Phew I was worried about that)

Tried the DVD player quickly, no region lock so you can play any DVD, probably never use the DVD player.

GPS works well so far.

Installed the external microphone attachment as well, made a phone call to my car with someone elses phone and it sounded decent on the other side. Not extremely loud but legible. Keep in mind I did not mount the mic properly yet, just dangling around the steering wheel.

AV input is an RCA jack (kinda old school) but the screen is so small its good enough. Attached a PSP GO with an AV out cable and a PS3 controller linked to the PSP. Allowed me to play PSONE classics, SNES emulator, any emulator that works on PSP and of course PSP games.

This HU also allows airplay, cant wait to give that a try!

The sound quality is about the same as the stock pioneer HU, could be better if I used poweramp. Give that a try later.

Only used it for 30 min....will report back when I spend more time with it. Enjoying it! Startup is under 30 sec.

One feature that is great is you can pick what manufacturer logo you want to appear on boot up. No more scion logo!

Hope this helps a bit for anyone interested in an android unit that looks quite OEM and under $400 cdn

Looking good. Give us some updates when you've had some time playing with the unit. Likes/dislikes and such. @Parappa

Keep I mind I'm not a power user by far. I just want to be able to play my files on the go and have everything run effortlessly.
As I play with the unit a little bit more
Things I like:
Volume level at startup is adjustable through settings.
7 colors to choose from for backlights
If you press the right knob: 1st press dims 2nd press gives you x full face clock.
Lots of inputs, SD card, 2 usbs(back) AV input (RCA)
Boot time is decent.
Ability to play all videos files so far: mkv, divx, avi etc...
AirPlay actually works with photos and games.

Tethered to your personal hotspot:
Netflix, YouTube and Google maps works great.

Things I dislike:
Stock music player cannot display folders..(bought poweramp)
Screen is easily scratched by finger nails. Little hairline scratches you can see in the light. Make sure you go to the dollar store and buy some cheap anti glare film for tablets and trim it down to size. Trimmed size aprox 8mm x 15mm

Nice! Also, spotify works without any issues (if any one uses it). Ownice releases firmware updates every couple months, but there is no download page. They are posted in C200 thread on XDA forums, so you need to do some reading

I think would just opt for a tablet with LTE and an amp rather than a full head unit. Granted the tablet would require some fab work and not near as plug and play a head unit device.

Seems like there is a way to root it, but I am also a light user. Only reason I would root is to change the boot animation. Happy with this unit so far, it's really discreet. The tablet option is really cool also!

I haven't change boot animation but only car image using a predefined logo of Subaru:
if you settle to change it ( only toyota or subaru logo, not scion ),
password for FACTORY SETTINGS app is 126 (or 0126 ?)
