I was able to fit an entire one piece cat-back exhaust system for a Jeep Liberty in mine. The parts counter guys at the dealership were even more amazed than I was...lol.

Well don't know about a 15' one with the trunk closed, but I'm pretty sure you could get two six footers in the box, and 3 footlongs.

Made a Sams Club and Home Depot run today.

As I was getting ready to load up at Sam's had a guy say, "that's going to be a tight fit!" I said "Nah, not really, I'll have room left over."

Besides what is in the basket, there was also two lithium batteries, a case of 12in tiles, and 1 gallon spray bottle from Home Depot and the basket I keep the car manuals, jumper cables, and a few other tools in the back of the car.

Ironically I can put anything in my trunk right now because it is taken up by a flat trunk liner. On a related note if anybody has any ideas on how I can pack up the semi rigid trunk liner for shipment to Europe without costing the GNP of a small country I would love to hear them.

Yea, that's a tough one. When SubaruOnlineParts shipped me mine back in 2012 it came in a box that was 90% air, 10% trunk liner, and you could have probably fit the back seat cushion in it.

If you make a basically flat box for it is it any cheaper or is the the width/length that's the problem?

Maybe you could sneak it in a crate of brake rotors going to Europe?

Need to get as small as possible. The rotor shipment idea was actually discussed but we discarded it due to some technicalitys.

We’re moving house and doing a couple of trips back and forth to find a place and for work. We’re making the most of it - transporting valuable and delicate stuff that we don’t want to give to removalists.

So on this trip I have a spectrum analyser (big 30kg chunk of delicate electronics), signal generator, oscilloscope, my 27” Mac monitor, my MacBook, my electric guitar, a pile of tools in my tool bag, lots of tins of paint in plastic buckets in case they spill, plus clothes etc for the two of us.

Oh, and my hubby snuck in his toy Yoda.

Toyota. Toy Yoda.

I’ll be here all night. Try the shrimp.

Is that the one that answers questions asked in a Yodaism? If so I have the same one!

I could see myself mounting that Yoda on a string and pulling it up to reveal himself as I pass onlookers...

If it's the one I have it would work perfectly because it's animated. If you "use the force" by waving your and in front of it, it moves its head, waves its arms, etc.

(not mine but the same one)

Nah, this one doesn’t do anything, besides collect dust on a shelf in his man cave, next to the Daleks and thunderbirds toys.
