I don't recall any one stating either their like or dislike of the wing, just stating that the car has a wing.

There was an initial implication that a wing was a poor choice in light of a much more expensive, turbo kit. The tone of the comment leaned more toward disapproval of the wing. They're often the brunt of criticism and are a real division for people.

I reread it all three times. Saw no sign of disapproval by anybody. Did see lots of the normal over over the top defensiveness that seems to come with big wings though. It is almost the automatic response as soon as somebody says anything about a wing. Almost as bad as the hellaflush "everybody is a hater" response.
I used to get comments on the big wing that came stock on my Lancers but don't recall ever having such strong reactions.

I mean, if that's the wing I think it is, it was called the "TRD Action Package." Which is also a decent nickname for prune juice.

Joking aside, I always did like the 7th gen. Although the Tsunami kit was my preference.

*sigh* It's not criticism. It's banter. The regulars in this thread all understand. Even Sarlacc understands. He's just prefers his moral high ground. Beats smelling us unwashed plebes.

edit: I wrote this before reading the others' responses. I will now add to be read in a most indignant tone, "See?"

And with phrases such as "busting your chops" is apparently getting his colloquialisms from 1940s gangster movies.

The Fire HD8 that I ordered last night was delivered this afternoon. Now, THAT is scary fast.......

So, after the last of the granddaughters leave for the day, I will place the package in her shaking, almost at wits end hands.

She likes new electronic things.

Maybe I will get to use it ...... when she is in the shower .....

Any tips for new users ......??

It's fairly straightforward, but if the Mrs is used to iDevices, there's going to be about a week or so of adjusting.

The Amazon ecosystem is actually not as restrictive as I thought it would be. Really I only added the regular app store for some of the less popular apps I have, and so that I can guarantee I won't miss out on any apps I may add in the future.

I believe that there's an instruction manual built into the settings, so anything you can't figure out is only a few taps away.

Reminds me of the time I was in this hick town (Gilroy, CA) hospital. The night before my operation, they said no food after 6PM. My sister brought me a cheeseburger and a pint of whisky about 8PM ....... it was soooo good!

NO, I didn't throw up the next morning while under anesthetic .......
