So after 4+ hours of aggressive driving and shifts, my knob failed a block from my house. I was safely able to get home and get the knob off. I don't think its a design flaw, possibly the welds just failed. I still think it's a good product, however it should last more than 4hr.

Really? Was the box from DND Motorsports? My shift knob was different from yours and it's very very strong. I've done some hard shifts with no problems..

Id look at the box but I threw it away already. Im like 99.98% sure that JonMotoring gets them from DND.

Well it broke but the threaded section still stayed on, so i could still shift with it.

Strange, I would contact them as mine looked really different. The little ring around the handle itself is different as you can see on my pics.
