The bird dog hunting seagulls at the beach. Never got too close but he didn't quit all day making for a good sleepy boy that night.

Our Coco loves the dog park and we visit often for the same reason...she is a lean 30+ lbs and seeks out the biggest/fastest dog in the lot to run with...tongue flopping out of her mouth...she has a look of pure joy |

Our Newfie doing what she does best...
Begging for her nightly ear scratch (our immediately after work activity) then taking a nap under my computer desk. She's stretched out here but she normally balls up underneath that space.

Beautiful Newfie. I was walking my dog yesterday and ran into a WFH neighbor walking his Newfie that likes me and always leans heavily against me. Except he hyper-extended my bad knee I've been working with PT to strengthen and set me back a couple weeks. Gentle giants, so sweet. |

Luna is a "non-compliant" newfie in that her coat is brindle. Such a stupid thing to care about from a breed prospective. That's OK though, we didn't adopt her for showing. Her baby picture is earlier in this thread (2013) as is our previous Newfie.

Yeah, AKC has their confirmation rules. My dog is a pet, not show, quality b/c his back isn't perfectly flat as preferred in the breed standard. Yet his sister was Best of Breed at Westminster and his Sire and Dam are well known in the Finnish Spitz world so we claim bragging rights anyway. |
