FT-86 Club Meet
Quote:
A true meet should aim to gather everyone but that would be pretty much impossible. We can have a trackday organised for each region where everyone shows up with their cars (pics must be posted for community share) or something along the lines of that. I have dibs on organising and being in charge of meet in Australasia, namely New Zealand cuz that's where I'm based. Remember, right hand drive, jap straight import nice nice! Suggestions go!

I know that in the past, Toyota was cracking down on car forums using their brand/model and anything other than dot org. I'm not joking here. I'm not sure if they'll be sticklers about "FT86," since I assume that won't be the model name once in production, but this could be a situation worth keeping an eye on. |

all good, we can change the forum name if the production name changes. or we can add it on to current forum name

I like your idea of meets. I am planning (down the road mind you) of setting up and coordinating meets at the Dragon. Hopefully, we can do two a year like we do for the S2000 with one being in April and the other in September. We can do smaller meets more locally throughout the year though.

West coast meet needs to be in BC. We have some beautiful, windy mountain roads once you get outside of Vancouver.
I'll settle for somewhere in WA state, too, for those xenophobic amongst you Americans that refuse to travel outside of their own country, though. |
