MAte , chill up I'm not saying that people need to buy this or that I'm gonna buy it. Just giving out options that's all.

Why are you creating an argument where there is no argument?

Four gauge fits fine. There are many members who ran that size for stereo upgrades.

Take out the rubber grommet (where the sound tube was attached) in the firewall and there will be plenty of room.

No matter what I do he said he would back me up. He said he looks forward to driving it with the ESC. When he called me to say that the transmission was ordered, he said, You know, we have to remove the transmission so if there is anything else you want us to do while we're at it let me know. I told him that unfortunately I ordered my header a month ago but I won't get it until next month. Otherwise I would have gotten my header installed for free!
I hope you all have a service department that is as understanding as mine is.

I am screwed.
I dropped my car off on Tuesday to get the transmission replaced.
Called them yesterday, the car's not done call tomorrow.
Drove by there today and stopped to talk to the service manager.
He's nowhere to be found.
I notice the car sitting on the lot like nothing has been done.
I go home and call them to see if the car is done.
The service guy handling the case can't be found. He will give me a call.
The service guy calls and says the car isn't done.
He says he didn't know it but the Toyota rep came by to drive the car to make sure it has a problem. To this point they haven't done anything to the car.
The Toyota rep agrees the transmission is bad.
The car may be fixed tomorrow.
I'm sure the rep noticed the ESC and noted it on my permanent record.
I AM SCREWED.

If they say anything about it just tell them you bought it off Ebay for $89.99, and it is supposed to add an extra 100hp and double your gas mileage. Then he'll think your a sucker, and the device is worthless and not even bother mentioning it on any service reports :p...

In other news, does anyone know if there is an existing E85 tune for the TQ250 that takes advantage of a header? I know Shiv is working on one for the TQ300 and pump gas, not sure if there have been any dyno's for the TQ250 + E85 + header. The E85 dyno I have scene was with an overpipe and front pipe.

Pretty sure sojhinn has one and had a dyno done.

Even if he doesnt have one there will be one in the future of shiv has anything to say about it

No header. Just front pipe and catback. Shiv is working on a header tune. I will also be getting a header when shiv comes down and will be tuning for the header and e85 then.

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

I will install the OFH this weekend and have the ESC on e85. Shiv said it will take a few weeks for the tune to go with that combination.

This is obviously a long thread and I haven't gotten to review it all yet. A couple quick questions:

1: Best estimate for max HP and TQ with Open Flash tune, Open Flash header and either/both the TQ250 and TQ300 on 93 octane?

2: Is there going to be much of a difference in that setup if the OFH is replaced with, say, a JDL header?

Thanks!

Alright, I'm in the game - just ordered. Also have the OFT and OFH on order - should be a nice combo on 91 pump.

Still have the primacy tires to burn up this spring!

As for batteries, the starter recommended is :

Compact Starter Battery:This SLA battery has been tested to –15C, larger options are available.
http://www.atbatt.com/product/21861.asp

Can Fenton or someone point to a beefier model that still fits properly up front?

Max HP on 93 with those mods should be about 220hp and 200tq.

With a single dump battery(not recommend with TQ300) and 91 octane Shiv got 216hp and 192tq.

He should be posting more dyno results up soon so if you keep an eye on the thread you should see lots of dyno's coming in.
