Loving the progress on the turbo kit.
Is there really no other location for the filter though?

Also, will any fuel injector or fuel pump upgrades be required?

Lastly,

282whp safe, 310 going for the limit and assuming all tests will be done on straight pump gas alone =)
but my biggest one will be how much torque and how low down the rev range we get =) i figure with direct injection that shouldnt be an issue at all tho =) great work btw Don =)

Im not sure why we would take bets on hp... with fi hp is related to how much boost, and how much boost is easily changed. However with this setup the limiting factor may be how much can be wrung out before too much knock etc becomes a problem.

+1

I'd only be interested if it can be daily driven reliably.

Once you start attemtping big modifications like turbocharging the term "reliable" is subjective. You can also daily drive 1000hp if you're willing spend coin and you know how to handle a powerful car.

This engine (FA20) has 12.5 compression so I got to wonder about what the boost will be. Surely not much more than 4-6 psi? Even at that we should see a nice bump in the torque.

Yes. But don't forget as reassurance Toyota and Gazoo twin-charged a gt86 on stock internals and have been racing it and it hasn't blown up:P. So I'm sure that the FA20 can handle a tiny turbo with low-to-mid boost and will not hesitate to buy this kit, assuming all testing goes well.

Were not going to try to make anything crazy the first time around. This is testing!
