looking for a head unit for Fr-s like the Brz.
I've seen videos of the BRZ Limited head unit and it looks pretty good compared to both audio options the scion dealership gives you. It is missing some key things, but the main thing i liked about it is you can change the startup image on the screen to whatever you like.want. I honestly don't know much about all the different aftermarket radios for cars these says so i don't know if this is a standard feature but can someone please shed light on this for me? any suggestions for aftermarket products would be appreciated!

this has definitely been discussed a few times on the forum already...
as far as i know all aftermarket head units are able to change the start up screen. that's probably the easiest "feature" to implement for them. honestly i feel like the better hu for the FR-S isn't worth the money if it's an option. i'm going to install a Pioneer AVIC-X940BT in mine. another member is in the process of this too. it's way more feature rich than the stock FR-S hu anyway. i think you're spending way more than what you're getting if you do manage to get the BRZ hu, but i'm not going to tell you not to get it. it's all preference anyway.
