Nah, it's my buddy's car who may have worked on some of your cars (back when he and Neal were at EQ). It was an automatic 1NZ family car that got a 2ZR swap (was on the Smoking Tire), and then a manual conversion after it became a dedicated auto-x car. My first Yaris was also a sedan tho.

Maybe 1/4 way done. Washed, Iron-X, washed again. Still gotta clay bar, Swirl-X, maybe polish, and wax.

Iron-X is really pungent. I was wearing an R95 respirator, gloves, and eye protection when spraying it on. Even with the respirator, I could smell it. I heard neighbors down the street coughing too. Careful if you use it, and try to spray upwind. I got some overspray on my arms; luckily I don't smell that bad.

And here I am intentionally leaving my car dirty since I have a track day coming...

I just washed my car too to make it easier to clean after the track day. Also, I couldn't stand looking at all the bug splatter from my LA trip any more. 😄

The overcast and cooler temperatures made it a good morning to wash a car

I had so much dirt, crap, and bug splatter on mine.

I don't get why every single living thing wants to be on it so much :|

Right?? It was a bit cold when I started, so I had to wear a hoodie that I accidentally got wax on ;_; So I need to wash it now and hope it comes out.

But the sky was perfect. The sun finally started breaking through a bit as I finished buffing the wax on the last panel.

I started around 6:15am. LOL. Luckily for me, I like the cold. I was just in shorts and a tank top/wifebeater. I took the Yaris out and put the FR-S in the garage for the rest of the steps. Taking a lunch break to eat some pulled pork with some Hawaiian bread.

Oddly enough, this doesn't taste the same as the samples given at Costco

holy shit 6:15 and you're still not finished??

Mine probably looks like shit compared to how thorough you are :||| That sounds really tasty. Trying to figure out what I'll eat. Maybe a bagel.

Costco has secret magic, that's why.
