2016 Focus RS - Now on the streets-Exhaust vid+Photos

My good buddy and co-worker just picked up his 2016 Focus RS, which is huge shock considering many people who pre-ordered this car are still waiting for a build date (Eric, my buddy had a pre-order, yet still came up on this).

I'll have a lot more photos and videos in the next few days (longer for video) but the car looks pretty badass in person.

I haven't driven it yet, but I expect it to be quite a riot!

EDIT: New Video of the car on our dyno with before/after test!

at the HRE open house, there was another RS there...for sale, with a 10k markup lol.

The Smoking Tire Matt Farah was there (at the HRE event), Eric on Left is owner and Mike on far right is Owner/CEO of Modbargains.com

Cool, can't wait to hear some reviews on this car...

I really have strongly considered trading in my 4 Runner on one of these...

Yeah, my buddy seems pretty stoked to have it lol. We'll do a video review thing in the next week or so.

Outside looks great! Inside....ew. Maybe its just the picture quality, but it just reminds me of my mom's old Windstar minivan.

I'll take more interior shots today, I thought the inside was decent-but maybe it was just the comfy Recaro Seats.

Random note, but one touch roll up/down windows front and rear btw

Interior shots! With iphone...I'll use my camera in the next few days

Backup cam-screen is bright and clear+gps seemed pretty responsive

Sunroof open and goofing around lol

The backseat-yes, not a ton of leg room, but the car isn't huge either. Didn't ride back there, but for the car class size that it is, seems fine.

Underside-once we get it up on a lift I'll have better photos of exhaust/driveline/suspension

Rear of car

Headlight-Haven't seen any night shots, so I'm unsure of beam/cut off etc

Front grille and intercooler

I haven't been in a newer focus, but I can't shake the feeling that it looks *exactly* the same as your base model premium trim.

It just irks me that someone could pay upwards of $40k for a hot hatch that looks like $20k on the inside. Hopefully its fun enough to drive that its distracting--which is the point of the car anyways, right?

Supposed to be...I haven't been in the newer focus either, but next time we have a focus ST in the shop I'll snag some photos. Regular focus I doubt we'll ever see in lol, but still.

We'll really be able to beat on it once its "broken in" since there's only 320 some odd miles on the odo. If its as fun to drive as the reviews have claimed, it might be worth it.

Pretty sure the "break-in" period is a myth, especially on modern cars. Numerous threads on here about it. But I understand wanting to play it safe.

And just want to say I appreciate your willingness to give the comparison photos when you get an ST in. Thanks!
