Confirmed UK Release March!?
Dunno if this is new news or not...
But i was in my local dealer today and saw new posters about the FT86. These posters confirm that the road going car will be shown to the world for the first time at the Tokyo Motorshow and that cars will go on sale late march!! Thats a lot sooner than i expected! |

I've been told the same. My local dealer is taking deposits. Launch in time for the new number plates. Didn't bother posting it though as It's pure speculation and there's been enough of that since 2009.

It's the MK II. Or should be. They're the same posters in all dealerships over here... at least it sounds like the same ones I've seen in my local dealership recently. Same with the FT-86 brochures too I presume. It's all pics of the MK II.

Also, do you people really think some random UK dealership has photos of the production model? No...no they don't. Nobody will till after the Tokyo Auto Show in November.

http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsAr...llCars/259183/
Apparently all of the "news/rumors" are coming out of the UK lately. Autocar is reporting: "Subaru’s product planning chief and BRZ development head Toshio Masuda said the BRZ would be offered with a sole engine option: a direct-injection 2.0-litre normally-aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine, codenamed ‘FA’. He also said it would produce “less than 300bhp”... The BRZ’s engine is not destined for any other Subarus. Why say less than 300bhp and not "around 200hp"...strange |
