Maybe for the first time in my life I will buy the same thing twice...this time Hyperblue BRZ and keep it srock
All the arguements I made are for the 3.7 in the ford.
I prefer not to comment on the General Motors Products

I don't think it was. Maybe your thinking of the Veloster. The V6 Genesis coupe does put out more hp than the Nissan 370Z. At least that was their marking point.

Assuming new, just wait.

Nissan 4xxZ?? Could be a monster. Could be poo poo.

Next gen 86??? Bigger torque dip, instant buy.

Mitsubishi eclipse cross Evo finally final edition.

SUVaru, WRLEVORG STD. Japan rice farm edition (sold in NA)

Mazda RX30 lol it's a rotary edition.

TLDR; you got options, just wait a year or two.

Good news 👍

.I think the Camaro is dying after 2020. That says a lot. A true test drive is coming soon. Also, I think a turbo four would be fun to tune.

I doubt they're killing the Camaro. They sell 50k+ and they get a premium for what they are. They might not update for a while, though.

One thing I noticed when I sat in a friend's Mustang GT, was the really high seating position. Even with the seat as low as it goes, it felt too high. The 86 has spoiled me, I will always want that low sportscar seating position now, and would rather go slow but feel like I'm sitting in a racecar, than go faster but feel like I'm sitting in an SUV.

You're right,,not a lot available,,, Overkill does a Supercharger which gives it a 100+HP but it's $6K+, E85 is available and a company in Australia makes cams but haven't seen dynos on those. As the later motors have a single exhaust port per side,,, so no headers,, but options on exhausts are available. Good news is current model is 335hp. I have a 2015 which is 10HP less.

[QUOTE=gtpvette;3274457]You're right,,not a lot available,

I ended up getting a nice deal on a new grey Ecoboost PP. Manual of course. Delivered to my door with all the options I wanted. I'll give a nice comparison in the future.
I'll get the Ford pro tune to preserve warranty.

Or if you can find one a BMW 335 coupe in manual. Those where the cars I test drive before getting my BRZ.
The V6 Genny is 3500+lbs. That is v8 Camaro/Mustang portly.

Mustangs have always felt this way to me also. I absolutely hate the seating position in them. Hell the SVT Focus I test drove many years ago felt that way. Ford always has goofy ergonomics.

I drove a tuned 4cyl mustang at my local tight test track. (2nd-3rd course gear in the FRS)The car felt enormous and suffered from serious under steer. I drove a Camaro SS with coilovers the same day. That was also HUGE but even that felt more balanced. The mustang felt like balance and turn in was a after thought.
