Trying to fit Spec-D headlights onto my 2017 GT86 but the pins are very different. Any way you can show me a diagram that's friendly to someone who's just starting out on learning to do DIY their own car? Tia.

I'm contemplating a fog light retrofit. Anyone know off hand if a Morimoto Matchbox projector will fit in a 2015 BRZ fog light housing?

You deff could make this work. it will likely need a bolt/nut retrofit style. It is not deep enough for just using the supplied mounting nut.

There is also plenty of room behind the foglight.

I installed the Spyder Foglights this last weekend and the relay wasn't sending power to the interior switch. I replaced it thinking it was bad tonight and the same issue! Do you have any suggestions as to what could be causing this? Thank you in advance!

Hey HeresMyMind, I've done an STI-R lense swap coupled with some of morimoto's xengreen bulbs a few years ago. I like the output but i never could get the cutoff just right. I think the driver's side is solid, but the passenger side is a bit frowny and I couldn't really get it right. Do you have any tips for getting the cutoff right and optimizing the setup? I don't mind pulling the lights apart again as long as I can get it right. Your pictures look really good.

Thanks,
Balf

It won't fit without decent modification,. Morimoto makes a LED replacement that is decent. but if you want the Bee's Knees, grab a Baja Designs Squadron Pro or Sport setup like mine. Way brighter than anything else on the market and they include brackets that fit.

Anyone replace their stock foglight bulbs in a 2018/2019 BRZ limited? What brand and bulb type did you go with?

HID?
LED? ie: auxbeam?

Can you elaborate on this?

So if I go buy a RX350's bixenon projectors from toyota, they slide right into the fr-s's H11 sockets? And the electric connection fits and everything?

edit - also, if I'm interested in the Morimoto HID kit, should the '13 fr-s be H11A or H11B?

Edit 2 - nevermind, it looks like H11B. Feel free to confirm.

My other question is can you run H1 HID's DRL and High beams? Or will I lose the DRL functionality?

I mispoke, you need to purchase a used set of RX330 Non-AFS projectors off ebay and make sure they are the xenon / D2S bulb projectors. they bolt directly into the OEM FRS housings, but they are LOW beam only. They are a 2.5" lens. The RX350 BIXENON ones you mentioned are a 3" lens and will not bolt directly in without modification.

Ontop of the projectors install, you will need to purchase D2S Hid Bulbs, and D2S ballast and adapters to plug the ballast into your OEM low beam wiring.

The 2017+ BRZ limited foglights (in the US) are already LED and don't have replaceable bulbs

this is a very simple 100% complete kit you can use that I highly recommend.

I have a question, so I have an FRS and I recently put on a 2013 BRZ bumper. How do I get the BRZ LED strip DRL's and foglights to wire up? My FRS has optional DRL strip LED's, but they don't seem to match up with to the harness that the BRZ uses. Any help or part names/numbers would be appreciated. Thanks

There should be one fog light wires from your FRS car harness.

The running lights will have to be connected to the oem headlight running light widespread. You’ll probably have to use universal connectors or solder them.
