M&M

Looks like it's over. Drove by tonight and the police and tow trucks were there. Freshco being open until 10 pm has killed it. On a bright note, saw a couple of beautifully equipped FRS tonight. Keep up the good work guys. They look great!

Hi Ottawa FR-S and BRZ crew... if any of you were at the MCO HPDE yesterday at SMP, great to see you there and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Any of you have any in-car footage of our 4x86 cluster (open group, the first session in the afternoon)?

Best,

Tim McGowan

Exclamation Montreal F1 Car's & Coffee Sunday June 11

@HeadBanger (Corey) has organized a cruise to the Montreal C&C hosted by Lamborghini Montreal.
Rally point is Walmart Parking lot at Trainyards Sunday am.
Leaving 9:30am sharp (1.5hr drive to MTL)
Your car will be judged on entry at the Mtl venue - don't get butt-hurt if your car doesn't make the cut! There is plenty of parking nearby
Don't drive like douches getting there too :p
Corey has posted details on Facebook.

I can't make it myself

I'm out now. Running out of light and need a pick to remove locktite from the transmission housing. Swapping in mtec springs takes only a few minutes if you can line up threads. Hopefully nothing is stripped. Back at it tomorrow

The car is back together. Kartboy short shifter, shifter bushing, transmission mount bushing and mtec shift springs installed. Feels great.

Dollar store saved me with a pick and mirror. Tool kit is freshened up.

Is it just me......

or has this been the most pathetic summer for keeping the car clean. Between rain and construction, holy shite!. Washed and waxed the car on Saturday to go out to Carleton Place and what do you know, another feckin downpour. This weekend not looking much better. Enough already! Update on the tire lettering. Have lost one half of one of my G's in Eagle. Not bad overall.

I skipped a few weekends of car washing (true confession) then made it look great Sunday morning.
After heading to autocross (spectator), Merrickville bike show (also spectator), then to Carleton Place to miss the car show (no chance to spectate), the car looks as dirty as it was before starting the day. It also turns out that there was no rain on my driveway all day. Still glad I got out for the day but could have done without multiple downpours and hail scares.

Fall cruise

Hey there long lost Friday night posse,

I was thinking we should try again for a fall cruise since it was a bust last year due to the weather although the way things are looking this year it likely won't be any different...

I still have an awesome country route for us to hit up if you guys are down to check it out. I was thinking late September - early October. Let me know if there's any interest and what dates work for you.
