ARC style winglets

This is my thread to document my development of ARC style winglets for the FRS and hopefully the BRZ as well. With the sharp angles of our front bumpers, existing ones on the market wouldn't suit our cars, which is why I wanted to develop my own.

If I can stay committed to this project, my plans would be to have them drawn in CAD, laser cut from 4mm aluminium and powdercoated. After it's completed, I will likely have a few sets for sale as well. (since I doubt metal shops will allow one-off's)
So let me know if anybody might be interested!

What I'm going for:

Well, here's Day 1: Measuring out a rough template on cardboard to get the basic shape and proportions.
Currently trying to source an extra bumper to make the whole process easier.

Thanks! I've seen this, but looks like they only have it for BRZ application, I also didn't like the shape of them, or how much they stick out from the bumper and would still like to give my little project a shot.

What are you hoping to accomplish aerodynamically with the winglets?

I had them on my car for 4 days before I ripped my front lip off going into a gas station. My lip was salvageable, but the winglets were trashed. For some reason, I didn't take any pictures in those 4 days. They added a nice aggressive look to the front though. Easy to install.

Sorry to hear that. Is the devsport logo on the side just a sticker? I ask because I'd rather have it off. Good to hear you thought it looked good though!

Also, where did you get them from? From what I've found directly from devsport seems the cheapest.

I bought them off ebay for like $120ish. And yes, it's just a sticker. I removed it too.

-I'll stop the threadjack and let the OP back to developing his own. Feel free to PM any questions you had about the Dev Sport ones.

Did you mean you add both winglets and front lip?
Which lip you are using?
Thanks.
