Possible EcuTek update issue?

Today I was sent an updated revision of my tune for my Innovate setup from Delicious Tuning. I opened the EcuTek software and it said it had not been updated in about 2 months. I went through the steps to update the software, no problems. Then I went to go reflash my ECU. Went through all the normal steps, but at the end I get an error message saying

I got in touch with Delicious Tuning and they said to try to revert to my last revision. I proceeded to do so but then these 2 messages popped up.

I got back in touch with Delicious Tuning with the new info and asked if it was okay to proceed. They responded with,

"This is a problem with EcuTeks own latest software revision. It's best to contact them in this case since its a software issue and not the map; we've put in a formal request with them to have it addressed as well."

I respond with,

"So am I stuck for the time being?"

To which they responded with,

"I'm not entirely sure what EcuTek's solution is at the moment, but we started just seeing a trend with folks that have updated to their newest software version. Unless you could somehow revert to an older version of EcuTek"

Has anyone else noticed any issues with EcuTek's latest software update? I do have an older version of the EcuTek software on my desktop, but does anyone see an issue with using the older version and reflashing with that? @jamesm @moto-mike @DeliciousTuning @EcuTek

This has happened to me before due to a faulty cable, but could also happen if you accidentally bumped the cable or OBD plug during the flash. I just tried flashing again and didn't move the cable at all, the flash completed with no issues, and the car ran perfectly fine.

Okay, I'll try checking the cable and give it another go.

I just checked the connections with the cable and tried again with no luck. I'm having my woman bring me my desktop with the older version of EcuTek on it and will see if that works. I'll let you know how it goes @DriftEm

Same thing happened to me, and I made a thread about it the other day. Appears to be an issue with ProECU 1.0.0.16274

@Kwaziekeller

I was fortunate enough to have an older version of EcuTek on my desktop. With the help of a couple of extension cords and my woman bringing it to me, I reflashed my ecu with the desktop and it worked. So for anyone thinking of updating, hold off until @EcuTek addresses this issue.

A big thanks to @sales@delicioustuning.com for pointing me in the right diection on getting this solved.

If it would help, does anyone know if it is possible for me to email the version I have now to those having issues? If so, I'd gladly help where I could.

Ok, went back to my older version of ecutek and it worked.
It's easy to go back to old version, go to c:\ecutek folder, you will see two ProECU.exe version, one says previous version. Rename the old one to new one and delete the new one, that's it. Hope this helps

Yes, there is some sort of problem with the software at the moment but I have contacted multiple times about it to get them to update it as soon as possible. For now just use the previous version of the software to upload your maps onto your vehicle.

@DriftEm I'll have to try that, hopefully it works. I'm not stranded or desperately needing to change my tune. I'm just in the process of an e-mail tune.

Turn the car off. Close the EcuTek program. Get out and lock the doors. Walk away for 5min. Come back, open the car. Turn the car to ON and open EcuTek. Manually detect vehicle and select program ECU. Make sure you load the map it failed to load the first time. Took me two tries and a heart attack but it worked.

Spoke with EcuTeK about this, this morning. They are releasing an update that will be available tomorrow to everyone for download that resolves this issue.
