2014 in summer or fall?

Yes I know this has been asked before, but I haven't seen this question in months personally and new info might be available. Do we have any idea as to whether the 2014's will arrive in June like the '13 or will they begin a normal release time in Aug or Sept?

It will likely be June-July timeframe, but they will need to unveil the new car before hand to pre advertise any subtle changes they make...all i want them to do is make a better damn high pressure fuel pump.

My suspicion is that they won't reveal the 2014 changes until shortly before release, so as not to have folks canceling orders on the '13....

Some of our Factory Orders are projected to be 2014MY vehicles. I would assume they will carry the same model year realease over from the 2013's of May-June.

Doubt that, if you mean absolutely no changes for the '14 (at least on the Toyota/Scion side). They have already said they are going to be doing something about the torque dip, and the chief Toyota engineer also mentioned they were looking for a better exhaust sound.

Where did I say anything about changes?
I said that some of our orders will be 2014MY and that the release will be the same as last year.

I would expect there to be changes as with any new model year.

The 2004 to 2005 STi had massive changes.

The 2005 to 2006 WRX had many changes.

It only makes sense that there will be changes to our cars be them Scion, Toyota or Subaru badged.

No relevance. The second generation STI and WRX had been around several years by 2005. They'll probably change the grill and the lights on the BRZ / FR-S.

Complete relevance. The STi had been around for one year when they made the changes to the 2005 model year car.

I think y'all are missing the point of the OP's thread. He/She was asking about the release of the 2014MY BRZ.

Per my Distribution Office - I believe that it will follow the same release of the 2013MY at May/June.

This thread isn't about changes.

I'm waiting on the 2014 too. They have to make a few changes at least. Maybe not much, or even worth the wait, but it just makes sense for me personally.
