Just how you can see inside the fender. It's not a big deal. I'm just nit picky lol. Truth be told, it would still probably look dad with 17s. I just don't like seeing the gap there, even though my wheels are dead on flush. To get rid of that gap, you'd have be lower with like 10mm of front poke.

Other stuff:

Installed Tomei EL header, and nameless exhaust today. Did the stage 2 tune with the oft as well. Logged a few pulls after driving around for a while and everything seems to be checking out. Everything is hitting the target values its supposed to hit. Thanks to @Shiv@Openflash

Wheels will be here end of next week. Tie rods also came in yesterday. Just need tires and then a few suspension bits and I should be all set.

Tie rods for now. I'll determine afterwards if I want to modify the knuckles as well.

Cool, I'm tuned to see how those turn out. What is the estimated amount of angle gained with those?

Soooo....change of plans with stuff.

Ditched the todoroki fenders.
Ditched the TEs.
Went back to 17s.

As of right now, sale is pending for the wheels and fenders. Tires are still up for grabs though. 265/35r18 Dunlop DZ102s with 1500 miles. $500 shipped.

The new setup isn't as cool visually but the car doesn't have any rubbing issues anywhere now and the car can make full lock without binding/hitting the frame rails so it's a win in my book. Just need the 8k/9k springs from swift and then I can swap the rest of the suspension parts over, drop the car a little bit more, and get the car realigned.

Then it's time to drive the living hell out of this thing again. March can't get here quick enough.

Those Todorki won't hold in the PBM kit anyways. 50mm on each side is what they are looking at right now. 17s front are the way to go for drifting on this car for sure.

Yeah it's unfortunate but it's just the way it is. Thanks to Subaru for using a shitty boxer engine in this car and making the frame rails too wide.

I was hoping that the todoroki fenders would allow me to space the TEs out far enough to gain the clearance needed for the steering angle but it just wasn't enough. It pretty much stands that if you want to fit 18s up front with increased angle, you need rocket bunny fenders. Otherwise, stick to 17s with a small tire and no more than a 9j width.

Something like a 17x8 with a 215/40 would probably be a perfect size to run.

Yeah they're Vordovens. Just needed something to hold me over until I find something cool to replace the TEs with.

I'm hoping to track down some bronze 17" Advan model5s but we'll see.

I also sold the duckbill on Saturday so that's gone now as well. Back to a wingless trunk. I also managed to pick up a new front bumper with front grill and corner lights so now my front end doesn't look all beat to hell anymore. Front lip was a little jacked up too so I ditched that and am waiting for my new one to come in.

The car now looks more similar to how it did when I first bought the car. It's pretty basic and bland in a sense but I like it. Everything is super simple and hassle free. The car can turn lock to lock with no rubbing and can be driven extremely hard without worrying about anything anything having an issue.

I still just need to order my swift springs for the coilovers and then I should be set. I keep procrastinating.

Besides from that, I'm thinking of maybe getting an oil cooler as well but I'm curious as to what good options are out there that don't cost an arm and a leg.

Damn I loved how it looked on the TE's, todoroki fenders and duckbill. So simple but so clean.

Thanks! Visually, it's definitely the car has ever been.

The problem was that the car could no longer function in the way I wanted it to. 9.5j wheels are very big for this car up front; especially when you start adding in extra steering angle.

Big wheels and big tires with big steering angle under little fender wells is bad news waiting to happen. I didn't want to risk seriously damaging something so I decided to just bite the bullet and cut my losses.

I'm definitely bummed about it but when I look at my bank account, I suddenly don't feel so sad anymore lol
