Ehhh I don't see much dif from the 89 I had and the 93 now. It did bump my avg mpg up but not enough to make up for the throttle sticking to the floor lol

Yeah but thats only 91, I wont settle for that anymore. I ran it for a while its great gas but the 94 is just a tiny bit better on the butt dyno and I am tuned for 94 now not 91 anyways

The difference from 91 to 93 octane is so negligible. Anybody saying they feel a power difference is experiencing the placebo effect.


The biggest thing is knock resistance. Higher octane fuel will help prevent knock, and that's what you want. But in some instances, you might find 91 octane that's pure gasoline, and 93 octane that contains 10% ethanol. In those cases, I just stick with 91 honestly.

The Shell V-Power down where I live is 93, sucks that it's 91 there 😗
