Installed mine yesterday, front and rear brembo's with new pads, rotors and SS lines... But the pedal is long and soft. Bled twice with motive power bleeder. Brakes are strong when stomped hard...even engages ABS...but very spongy

Bleeders are on top? Try hitting each caliper with a rubber mallet to release any bubbles that might be caught to the top of the caliper where the bleeder is and then bleed them again.

RacingBrake Rotors feature 3 patented designs
  • Center Mount – Hat mounts onto the surface of the rotor ring, balancing stress load and improving cooling by allowing air flow to enter from both the inboard and outboard side of the rotor
  • Convergent Vane – Provides efficient air flow and temperature across the disc surface
  • Open Slot – Advantage of both drilled and slotted, optimizes the friction between pad and disc

Street and Track brake pads are also available for your STi Calipers.

Yup bleeders on top. So anyway I've re-bled the lines and it's all good now....nice and firm. Brake feel even during normal daily driving is so much better. But on VERY hard braking (say from 70+mph) I can feel the front end nose diving more than before and the ABS kicks in sooner. I'm currently running Stoptech pads all round, but i'm going to try a slightly higher friction rear pads to see how that feels.

Anyway here are some pics:

2011 STI Brembo calipers, painted bright yellow with black STI logos.
Adam's Rotors custom rotors, "Race" slotting. 2004 STI front, 2011 STI rear drilled 5x100.
Stoptech braided lines.
Cusco front strut bar w/ MC brace.

I also currently have CarboTech AX6 pads in them. But they won't stay bedded in daily driving, so I'm going to get a set of 1521 "Bobcat" pads for street use.

Love the yellow. I'm also planning to remove mine and get them painted yellow as well.

You front end could be diving more because your bias is off, many people note that installing the STI rears throws off your bias and actually reduces the effectiveness of the rear braking (thus more nose diving)
