Talking my friend built a model of my car!!

Hey ft86club,

I wasn't sure where to post this on the forums but I just knew I had to share it with everyone. It was my bday recently and my best friend gave me this as a gift. He made a model of my car with all the little details of the small mods that I have. I was so impressed with how it came out. I don't have a lot of mods on my car. The visual ones that you can see here are mainly just my black wrapped roof and my sorta custom license plate. He even changed up the interior to match the FRS instead of the GT86 from overseas. Keep in mind my buddy isn't really a car guy. He builds and paints models for fun but its typically not cars.

Here's a link to his blog that he does for fun for a quick run down and more pics of how the build went. Scroll through it and check out the pics! He even put in custom LEDs for the headlights, fogs, and taillights. This is definitely one of the best gifts I have ever received.

wow, very nicely done! is that 1:18 scale? I think the back seat leg room is too big... and I don't mean proportionally, I think that model actually has more leg room than the real thing

Wait, he "made" it for you?

You should make it on your own!! Where's the fun in just receiving the finished product!

Anyways, it's very detailed work. I want one.

1/24 scale. I have the Aoshima kit. Can't wait to start building it next month.
