It wouldn't be targeting any certain group but a few youngins and ol' folks will be better drivers for it if their driving privilege depended on it.
I'd be fine paying for it too and yes I'd be the first one in line with cash in hand to pay for it since I know it would save lives including my family, friends and own.
Interesting concept. Just go for a spin every 5 years and they could correct all your bad driving habits lol

She barely touched the car. It's almost as if she was using it to judge where she was located. I'm glad we have plastic bumpers now! No harm done. The front bumper is trashed anyways...

Her Daughter and a couple of neighbors had horrified looks on their faces though. That was funny!

Today I finally got around to making the small adjustments I needed to have my Rising Sun intake manifold cover ready for paint.

Btw, top hardware is temporary.

You can adjust all of this with Carista.

When that "spin" would determine if you are capable or not, the driving privilege would be taken more seriously. No corrections would happen other than a driver license being suspended and or eventually revoked if they can't get it right. It should be if you screw up after 5 consecutive years of driving for a short 10-15 run with a instructor by your side, you don't deserve to be on the road. So pretty much get 100% on the test or fail. Then if they felt they needed to be on the road still, they'd read up on the rules and maybe learn something or maybe they just suck at driving and we'll keep somebody off the road who shouldn't be there.

The problem I see with that plan, is that the mass transit system in Florida would be overloaded ......

They could concentrate all the bad drivers and put them all in special camps so they don't have to be transported anywhere. I don't know maybe even put a tattoo on them to identify they can't drive.

To be fair, maybe the older drivers just need special cars .......

Usually one side is right at the dot or slightly above it. But this is way over. Let's see what they say

Update: they changed the filter again "no charge", I guess to smooth things over. I checked the oil level in the parking lot and it was good now. Didn't say anything about the oil level so I suspect it was overfilled. Going to my mechanic from now on, no more dealer
Always check the level when the oil is hot. Also, ease the stick down slowly once it's o-ring seal reaches the top of the tube to avoid splashing oil up.

Roughening the stick between the little level holes helps you see the oil on it.

Is there an easy/accurate way to tell when the car is level?

Not sure, I just find the flattest spot. And yeah, usually I check it after a drive. But that time it didn't matter when I checked. It was always an inch above the hole

It's right in the manual: Put car in neutral, get out and push it. If it rolls away then chase after it and try again on another surface.

Oh great. We are talking about how to read the dipstick again. My favorite!

As for what I did today... Brake and clutch fluid change, single wheel lug replacement (rears suck) and that's about it. Was planning to install an oil drain valve, shifter bushing, and try out the rpf1s I got today, but I'll have to do that later this week.

Also recently installed a master cylinder brace, 4" antenna, and an afe dry air filter.
