Door miss alignment after wind caught it
I have had no problems do far but the other day the wind took my door forcefully and over opened it it cricked when this happened. Now the door does not light u correctly with the front gaurd it sits about 1.5 mm in from the front gaurd at the front of the door. Would this be a warranty job or is there an easy fix?

You can try to get it warranted, but it didn't break on its own...just don't tell them about the wind.

Maybe your insurance covers it under comprehensive coverage?

it probably broke the little welds on the door. check the door skin to see if it moves independently from the door frame. had this happen on a Peugeot 206.
opened the door too far and it broke the skin free from the frame. LOL just complain about the panel gap. |

I ment line up lol auto correct and fat fingers. I haven't had time to get to Toyota yet and no the doors don't have lights only reflectors. Il check the door skin too. It's barely noticeable but it's there it also makes to top at the rear of the door sit high against the quarter panel. Just enought to piss me off spent 5 hours detailing it and it's all I could think about...
