Your record is safe Scott. We got too tired and slept at a rest stop for a few hours. I could technically make it but all I want right now is an extremely hot shower to get the kinks out. This car is just a little cramped to sleep in. Lol

Surprisingly good turn out this morning. Lots of cyclists, but we were nice and organized. Glad i didn't lose anybody along the way. Hope you guys enjoyed the drive, the view and the food (for those who joined us for breakfast). Plus, BBBBBBonus 86 Drive star!

I know. I just figured it would have been an epic way to make it to a drive. But of course long trips always take much longer than you expect.

Glad you guys had a blast.

From yesterday's Bonus/Pitty Drive for @BigFatFlip:

And then this morning, Randy and I drove down 128/Knoxville Rd to scope out the Sac/Stockton86 drive route:

They're doing construction and a section of the road had to be traversed via following a pilot car (truck) past the work area. On our way back, the lady holding back the traffic came up to me and we were chatting a bit. Her sister had just bought a BRZ Blue Series and rolled it 10 days later. Luckily she came out alive but ended up with two broken legs and her BF had a punctured lung. Ouch. A good reminder to be safe and know your limits. Safe driving you guys.

We're having a car meet in San Jose on Tuesday Oct 28 at 7:30 pm
https://www.facebook.com/events/1474748446124327/
Location is MOD Pizza at 5670 Cottle Rd, San Jose
Mostly GT 86s, but other tuners/imports are welcome.

It's Halloween-themed, so feel free to bring a costume, and drive responsibly.

I've driven Angel's crest a couple times when I'm in SoCal. Nice road, but I don't think its any better than what we have around here.

I see some local users have already added most of the good/fun roads in our area... sorry to say, that with all the construction/repaving going on lately, I'd have to say most of them here are NOT the best roads in the world anymore... I think only Hwy 84 between Alice's and La Honda remains as a beautiful pristine smooth drive worthy of the honor.
