that doesnt make sense. there are other compensations applied against temperature and pressure and if you disable ltft in open loop and scale well the maf, you get a matched afr in summer and in winter and with storm and with hot sun with ltft enabled? you get random afr every f*cking day : ) |

For me it's purely educational since I want to get deeper into ECU calibration. I understand that there are other methods.

That's one out of many possible ways to do it. Wait. You mean the ECU still compensates for ambience temperature? |

ltft works very good.. for different fuels use and for tunes that need to work off-the-shelf for a large amount of similar cars
if you spent time and resources in scaling the maf the best you can, ltft in open loop become useless to my point of view, just disable it and scale well the maf and afr will always be matched with the target afr |

Well always thought that the ecu stops compensating for oxygen density as well. Again something learned, thank you! I think I'll give it a try next weekend. |

can t remember in romraider how it s called, but in ecutek look for the map "airtemp vs airflow compensation"
that s enough to compensate for IAT variations during open loop in closed loop stft and ltft still work |

Flashed and went for a drive last weekend. Disabling LTFT in OL was one of the best things to do.
Now the next thing to do is installing the wideband sensor, which is lying on my desk for about 2 weeks now. |

For Brzedit, it's Long fuel trim maximum A&B + Long fuel trim minimum A&B
For Romraider I'm just guessing: AF learning #1 limits Probably a bad idea to zero these tables out on a non-flex-fuel ethanol tune. Last edited by freerunner; 08-20-2018 at 11:38 AM. Reason: disclaimer added |

right, you should disable ltft in open loop only if you scape perfectly the maf and use always petrol E0
