There's a good chance something is tweaked underneath that cover. Your choice whether that matters.

Once you straighten it out the cover it may look fine now, but there's a good chance you've got creases in the paint or top coat that will eventually show itself. Paint is flexible, but not that flexible. We had a similar thing with my son's Accord. He got rear ended, the car had over 150,000 miles on it so rather than repairing the cover we put the other person's insurance money in a replacement fund. He's still driving the car, but after about a year spider cracks started showing up, and the top coat has popped off in places.
Thanks.

Good insight -

Oh, my head is already spinning. Maybe I'll get into it, when and if, the granddaughters start watching it -

WOW! I didn't realize that this art form went back so far -

I wonder why I was never exposed to it? Oh, wait, was it because we didn't have TV in our home when I was a kid? -

10-15 dogs attacked my car while I was driving. I tried to escape them this time, because in my previous car, same thing happened and I stopped. A dog chewed some parts of the car. It was awful. This time, I put my foot down and changed 3 lanes (it was very dark, and no car was around) still one of the dogs reached the right back side, and did this

I will not try to repair it (or should I?).. This is a everyday use car, and things happen. I wish nothing worse happen..

That sucks! I had a dog bite and flatten my tires before.

It was a 70lbs rednose pitbull. It looked like this dog.

Well I was going to complain about the number of bugs on my windshield this morning but now that seems sort of silly.

That reminds me of something....

I'm listening to an audiobook that is about the history of Area 51 (the actual history not the UFO history, although there is discussion of it).

Area 51 is located in the Nevada Proving Grounds part of which was also used for above ground nuclear tests.

When they were flight testing the SR71 and Oxcart (the original version plane run by the CIA) they started running into an issue at 90,000ft where the windshield would start getting black dots all over it. At first they thought it was something corrosive in the air at that particular flight level.

After a lot of testing they determined it was bugs. What would happen is that during the above ground testing between the US and the USSR at the time, bugs would get caught in the updraft of the mushroom cloud and basically fell into a low earth orbit at about 90,000ft. They were dead, but were hitting the windshield. Due to the heat of the plane at speed they were basically becoming carbon spots on the windshield.

OMG! Packs of wild dogs? Just leave it. I have wounds from when a semi tapped me in the rear, when my daughter's gate closed on my driver's side door, scratches on my right front quarter from apexing into blackberry stems...

I used to love listening audiobooks in my previous diesel car. Finish 2-3 books some weeks. With BRZ I was unable to finish a single one yet.. I put the car to gear "D" say to myself, "I'll drive economical this time" and open an audio book. But when the engine warms up a little, I close the infotainment thing, and put it into manual mode, push the sports button... I especially love the exhaust noise between 4k-5k

I've found that people who are good at but don't appreciate math only need to be exposed to the practical applications. God bless that powerful young brain. She'll be well equipped to pursue any damn thing she wishes.

Change the exhaust to really make the engine sing. As for the ICE, I never turn my unit on... I hate it!! I hate it!!! I hate it!!!! Can't bring myself to get something decent because I don't use my car much...
